# 9469 LEGO LORD OF THE RINGS Gandalf Arrives – small set with Gandalf on a horse-cart with lots of fireworks.?Īlthough I mentioned them in my previous post, for your convenience (and pleasure) I will list again the 2012 LEGO Lord of the Rings sets scheduled to be released this summer: So, I hope LEGO will bring them to life plastic as well. I’m sorely missing the ladies! Where is Arwen – the beautiful Lady of Rivendell, the lovely and brave Eowyn, or the mysterious Galadriel? Without them the story is just another good-guys fighting bad-guys story.

And the ring is nicely done!Īlthough I’m glad the LEGO Lord of the Rings Fellowship looks so nice, I’m really hoping these will not be the only characters depicted in LEGO. I have to say I’m very happy with what I see! LEGO did an excellent job capturing these iconic characters from Lord of the Rings the hobbits look small and cute, Gimli’s dwarf helmet is awesome, looks like we finally get a gray wizard-hat (I have been waiting for this for years!), and Legolas looks lovely with his pointy ears and long hair. This image is from the 2012 London Toy Fair by, depicting the Fellowship of the Ring: Gandalf the Gray (the wizard), Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas (the elf), Gimli (the dwarf), Frodo , Sam, Merry and Pippin (the hobbits). Today, I would like to show you the first picture of the LEGO Lord of the Rings minifigures.
LEGO LORD OF THE RINGS MINIFIGS MOVIE
The first wave of LEGO Lord of the Rings sets will be released this summer, focusing on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The first Hobbit movie is scheduled to be released in December, so I assume LEGO sets from The Hobbit will come around that time. If you haven’t read the news and official press-release from LEGO, I highly recommend you check it out: LEGO Lord of the Rings Coming in 2012! Just about a month ago I shared with you one of the most exciting news for LEGO-fans LEGO has acquired the license for Lord of the Rings! Yep! That means LEGO sets from the Lord of the Rings trilogy as well as the upcoming The Hobbit movies.
